✔️ Dosage & Administration:

Oral Suspension:

• Adults and children over 12 years: 10-20 mL after meals and at bedtime, up to 4 times daily.
• Children (6-12 years): 5-10 mL after meals and at bedtime, up to 4 times daily.
• Children under 6 years: Not recommended.
• Elderly: No dose modification necessary.
• Hepatic Impairment: No dose adjustment is necessary.
• Renal Insufficiency: Caution is advised for patients on highly restricted salt diets.

✔️ Side Effects:

• Common: Constipation, flatulence, stomach cramps, belching.
• Overdose Symptoms: Abdominal distension.

✔️ Interactions:

A 2-hour gap is recommended between taking Abicon Max and other medications, including:

• Antibiotics: Tetracyclines, Fluoroquinolones
• Thyroid Hormones: Levothyroxine
• Beta-blockers: Atenolol, Metoprolol, Propranolol
• Others: Digoxin, Iron salts, Ketoconazole, Neuroleptics, Penicillamine, Glucocorticoids, Chloroquine, Bisphosphonates, Estramustine

✔️ Contraindications:

• Hypersensitivity to any component of the medication.

✔️ Pregnancy & Lactation:

• Pregnancy: Safe for use during pregnancy as studies show no malformative or toxic effects.
• Breastfeeding: No effects observed in breastfeeding infants. Safe to use.
• Fertility: No adverse effects on fertility were observed in pre-clinical or clinical studies.

✔️ Precautions & Warnings:

• Sodium Content:
  • Each 20 mL dose contains 254.5 mg of sodium. Use caution in patients on low-sodium diets (e.g., congestive cardiac failure, renal impairment).
• Calcium Content:
  • Each 20 mL dose contains 260 mg of calcium. Caution in patients with hypercalcemia, nephrocalcinosis, or recurrent calcium-containing renal calculi.
• Children under 12: Use only with medical advice.
• Aspartame Content: Not recommended for patients with phenylketonuria.
• Prolonged Use: If symptoms persist beyond 7 days, consult a physician to rule out more serious conditions.
• Renal Insufficiency: Avoid use in patients with impaired renal function or hypophosphatemia.

• Gastric reflux
• Heartburn
• Indigestion
• Flatulence associated with gastric reflux
• Heartburn during pregnancy
